Happy 50 Millionth, Sunstorm!!!2011 was a big year for Sunstorm Games. Not many developers on iTunes can say they’ve hit 50 Million downloads. Heck, the ICEE Maker wasn’t even out long before it hit 5 million by itself, while charging to the number one spot on the App Store charts! Now THAT’S how you keep cool in the heat of summer. “When we secured the ICEE Maker license, we were excited but uncertain about the brand strength,” said Sunstorm President and Founder, Anthony Campiti. “As we dove into development, we began to notice the brand out in the real world…it was everywhere. We had no idea that the brand has such pull! Watch for several more ICEE branded games in the near future. We’ve established ourselves very firmly in the kids market with our existing MAKER games and are introducing our loyal fans to even bigger and better games which we will be announcing very soon! Sunstorm is continuing to experiment with a variety of games styles and genres. In the near future, we’ll be releasing several arcade games, puzzle games, and many others.”

App Store ReviewsFondue Maker — “I love cooking apps and this one is the best!” By Am-Erica
ICEE Arcade — “My favorite games in this are probably the ICEE drop or the hoops game. I also like that you can pick up this game after you’ve played for a few hours, and it gives you tokens to play with while you’re offline. The ICEE Invaders was really well done: the play controls and arcade sounds were spot-on to the original arcade game. Kudos!” – By Steven F.
Real Trophy Hunting — “This game is hard to beat but it is really fun trying to get the last 3 levels unlocked!” – By Fish Stomp
Cake Maker — “This is a good game. The people that don’t like it just aren’t creative enough to make a good cake on here. This is a really creative game and I suggest it to all of you who enjoy artistic games.” – By Katie Ruggs
